Description of a simple forex strategy Fast moving averages crossover superimposed on the graph currency pair three exponential moving averages with periods of 10, 25 and 50. Rules of entry if the EMA (10) crosses the EMA (25) and in continuing crosses the EMA (50), sell / buy in the direction of the EMA (10). Under these conditions of entry the market only after the close of the current bar (candle) or below, respectively, above the EMA (50) – this will help avoid false inputs. Rules out Option 1 out of the market if the EMA (10) again crosses the EMA (25).
Option 2: We leave when the EMA (10) turns and touches the EMA (50) and the current bar (candle) is closed on the opposite side of the EMA (50).
Simple trading strategy Fast moving averages crossover or intersection of fast moving gives very good results when the market is trending and large price movements. We do not recommend using this strategy in sideways market with small price fluctuations. It is also necessary to note that moving averages – and lagging indicators, rather, indicate the current state of the market and, therefore, this strategy requires constant monitoring.
